For the younger set--Muskoseepi Park is across the street with a spray deck, sand areas, mini climbing wall.  The playground itself is a very enjoyable, scenic 20 minute walk.  (Highly recommended for anyone wanting to take a short walk beside a beautiful, small lake.)
