There really isn't anything too difficult about buying or selling your own
home. However, you do need to be cautious--it is the single biggest purchase
many people make during their lifetime.
Going F.S.B.O., while worthwhile, is really only about 1/2 as good as many
people think! See "Selling by F.S.B.O." and "Buying a F.S.B.O." on the menu at

A few words of advice--use a lawyer, and
(probably) get an
appraisal.
If you are buying, find out from a
bank
how much mortgage you qualify for.
